I recently took my 2008 Honda Pilot in because the rear driver’s side window would not open. It’s a common problem and could have been diagnosed without tearing apart the door. But apparently they did so and quoted me $380 to replace the window regulator with motor. I called another auto repair shop and they charged me $275 to do the same thing, a whopping 38% savings. Pride charged a ridiculous $60 diagnostic fee to get my keys back. I also had the struts replaced on my 2008 Toyota Highlander for an exorbitant $2100.00 at Pride Auto Care last September. I love their service and the convenience to my neighborhood, but not that much. It seems the overcharging is fairly new, within the last 18 months. Not sure if they have new management or technicians, but come on, get at least in the ballpark. Go see Lance at Colorado Tire and Service on Quebec St and save a bundle.
Thanks for the heads up Dave. I'm sorry you feel as you do. I talked to the shop and got the rest of the story and it seems we tried but failed to get you happy on this one. Good luck with your new shop . I hear CTS is good folk.
